Initial Consultation and Follow-UP prices:
We strive to offer a wide range of options for our clients. We currently see clients in our office, in-home, and virtually. If your visits are not covered by insurance, below are our prices. We will happily give you a super-bill for insurance reimbursement with the appropriate information needed for submission.
If you have Health Insurance: Lavender Lactation can take most Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem BCBS, some Aetna with multi-plan logo, and Cigna PPO plans. Please click below for eligibility via our partner The Lactation Network. Most patients can get their Lactation services covered 100% with zero out of post cost to you. This includes Prenatal education.
In Home Breastfeeding and Lactation Consulting: Nashville, Sumner, and Williamson County- $200
When we come to you for in-home or we see you in our office for lactation consulting, we spend about an hour and a half working with you and your baby. We will perform a comprehensive assessment, including checking for plugged ducts and possible tongue or lip tie, assist you with latch and positioning, counsel you on the normal course of breastfeeding, and provide you with a complete care plan that you can implement at home. Self pay payment and/or travel/service fee is due at the time of service, and we will provide you with a superbill form for insurance reimbursement. Our home visit service fee is $25
Office Visit: All office visits take place in our space at Roots Collaborative Care in Goodlettsville, TN -$175
We cannot wait to show you our beautiful lactation space inside of Roots Collaborative Care. We welcome you and complete a full assessment to meet your needs. Our office appointments allow for us to serve the community with a home base to reach more families in need. Follow ups in office- $150.
Virtual (Telehealth) Lactation Consulting, Pregnancy Consult, or 1 on 1 Breastfeeding Class-$125 up to one hour
Let a board certified lactation consultant help you to find success in your lactation journey from the comfort of your home. Helping to troubleshoot and answer all your questions and concerns about breastfeeding before your new baby arrives. This is one on one teaching about breastfeeding and what to expect. Great for the entire family. In home or virtual.
Text support for established patient: 9am-7pm (1 week) $50
It’s common to next extra support in the early days. Have your lactation consultant on stand by. This is the perfect package for new parents.
Text support for established patient: 9am-7pm (1 month) $150
Do you need extra support and guidance for a longer period? We offer month long packages for text support.
Adoptive Breastfeeding/Induced Lactation Planning- Telehealth $125 up to one hour
Talk to a lactation professional about your goals to nurse your adoptive baby. Whether you have decided on this route or are considering inducing lactation, professional guidance can help you to meet your goals. This is a Telehealth visit.
Follow up for established patients in home: $150.
There are times when one visit is not enough. Do not worry! We offer follow up visits either in home or via telehealth. Service fee applies to home visits.
