The Lavender Lactation story

Twelve years ago, I became a mother for the first time—and like so many women, I thought breastfeeding would come naturally.

But it didn’t.

I remember the early days so clearly… the uncertainty, the discomfort, and the quiet fear that maybe I wasn’t doing it right. I didn’t even know where to turn for help—because I didn’t know someone like me existed.

Lavender Lactation was born from that place of longing. A longing for guidance, for reassurance, for someone to sit beside me and say, “You’re not alone. And we can figure this out together.”

Now, as a board-certified lactation consultant and mother of three, I know this truth deeply: feeding is a vital sign.

When a baby struggles to feed or a mother is in pain, it’s not just a feeding issue—it’s a sign that something needs attention.

And that attention—given early, with compassion and expertise—can change everything.

There is a sacred connection between mother and baby. Hormones like oxytocin aren’t just about milk supply; they’re about bonding, healing, and emotional connection. When nursing is supported well, it becomes more than nourishment—it becomes a rhythm, a dance, a deeply rooted trust.

That’s what I want for every mother I work with.

To feel confident.

To feel supported.

To feel seen.

Lavender Lactation isn’t just a service. It’s a calling—a space where your story matters, your questions are welcome, and your journey is honored.

If you’re struggling, uncertain, or just want a guide in your corner—I’m here. Let’s walk it together.
